"WELCOME to Black Bear Ridge cabin surrounded by the Ozark National Forest and Richland Creek area, near Witts Springs in Searcy county, Arkansas. Conveniently located about 16 miles off highway 65 just north of Marshall. If you want complete privacy and serene surroundings this is the place! Black Bear Ridge is situated along a beautiful bluff and huge rock formations. There is a multitude of outdoor activities to enjoy or just sit back on the deck and enjoy the view and the many varieties of wildlife. Or curl up on the soft leather sofa with a blanket and enjoy a movie or listen to CD's on the Bose radio, in the winter you can also relax in front of the fireplace. The cabin is fully furnished down to the sheets and towels. You will find all the comforts of home, complete with CH/A and washer and dryer. Look at the complete list below. So, come and stay and have a peaceful and relaxing time OR bring your ATV and ride in the forest and down to beautiful Richland creek, bring your shorts and swim in the swimmin' hole, bring your hiking boots and enjoy the woods. The cabin is a short distance to the Buffalo National River and Park where you can canoe and do more hiking and swimming. I must tell you that the nearest food (of any kind) is about 30 miles away, SO you may want to bring plenty of food! We have all the kitchen "stuff" you will need, from the coffee pot down to the can opener! Oh yea, we have a gas grill for you to cook on if you want to enjoy cooking on the deck." AMENITIES:
Washer and Dryer, all linens (sheets and towels) VCR with a
variety of movies, Bose radio and CD player with a variety of
music, CH/A, gas log fireplace, microwave, dishwasher, coffee
pot, gas range and oven, games, deck furniture and a gas grill.
RATES:
Two night minimum stay @ $150 each night ($300) up to 6 people,
that is our limit and the cabin will sleep 6 quite comfortably.
After the 2nd night, $125 each night up to 6 nights. Our weekly
rate, example: Friday to Friday (7 nights) for $700. Please NO
children UNDER 12, the reason for this is the cabin sits near a
bluff.

DIRECTIONS: From Hwy
65 just 5 miles north of Marshall, turn left, (turn right coming
from Harrison), this will be Hwy 74. Go 7 miles to Snowball,
turn left on Hwy. 377, go 8 miles and turn right on county road
270 and stay on main road for 1.5 miles, turn left at double
gray gates with chain and lock.
